FLASH CARDS: PITCH: GRAND STAFF AND KEYBOARD

These cards have several features that improve reading skills and comprehension.

The front of each card trains students to consult the clef sign in order to identify the pitch of the note. This is accomplished by showing just one staff on the front of each card. By showing the note on the Grand Staff and locating its position on an 88-note keyboard on the back of each card, students learn to play the right note in the correct octave.

Furthermore, the cards are numbered for efficient assignment. These cards give students control over the reading range of piano music at all levels. Assign regular at-home review and keep an ongoing record of each student’s accomplishment.
