Remembering
Toronto The 2007 Collaborative Conference brought great
joy and opportunities to all those fortunate enough to
attend. For me, the private conferences with teachers, where
we met and explored issues of interest, were
invigorating and rewarding. We also enjoyed our own Luncheon
Workshop where teachers graciously explored one another's
questions and concerns. Let's do this again in
Denver! | |
Soon
to be released The eagerly awaited digital
Pedagogy Guides, INTRODUCTION TO MUSIC, PART III, will soon
be released both as a download and/or on a CD. Accomplishing
the digital format of such a large book has turned this year
inside-out, but you will be delighted to reach any nook or
image of this book instantly with a click of your
mouse! We are presently formatting the Table of
Contents, the Index, and the Glossary -- all of which are
final tasks. Thank you for your patience and for your
continuing support. |
Artistry in Washington
state Thanks to the generosity of Valerie Tedrow, a teacher
new to Artistry at the Piano, we will have a table at the
WSMTA Conference exhibits, with Valerie as our gracious
hostess. If you are attending the Conference, June 25-29,
please stop by our display, pick up your free CD Workshop,
and sign up to be on our mailing list. You will also be able
to view a short demo of our first DVD: Teaching MUSIC...not
Notes! Valerie will promptly e-mail us your questions and
your orders so we can reach you via e-mail and Priority
Mail. We owe Valerie our thanks for initiating this way to
reach teachers at the various state conferences. Please let
me know if you are interested. We make all the arrangements
and supply all the materials for the exhibit.

Artistry in Florida Helen Morrison, who has
been teaching Artistry since the early 80s is using the
course in her new position at the beautiful new Tampa Bay
Performing Arts Center. Next month she will initiate a new
program at the Center to provide a foundation in
musicianship for students of any instrument or voice. She is
basing this course on the INTRODUCTION TO MUSIC. We are
excited for you, Helen! We already know that your students
at the Center this last year and at your own very active
studio in Tampa are thriving on Artistry at the Piano, based
on your skilled teaching and your dedication to your
students. Congratulations!
