ANALYSIS: AN AID TO MEMORY

 This colorful worksheet provides excellent review for students as they prepare to memorize and transpose this short Baroque style piece to all Major keys.

After practicing the transposition of triads and inversions in each key (Workbook 2, page 16, and Musicianship 2, page 19) in addition to all the Major scales, students have developed their awareness of tonality and how to find their way around the keyboard in each key. 

It is not recommended, however, that they use Louise’s Worksheet at the piano while doing the transposition!
